Your annual gas safety check/service will allow our engineer to establish whether your boiler, flues, air supplies and safety devices are functioning properly at the time of inspection. The most important reason for this is to make sure that there is no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning in your home.
Carbon monoxide is a highly dangerous and potentially deadly gas that you cannot see, smell or taste.

It is a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty that your boiler is serviced annually.

Signs that your boiler needs a service now:
Whilst you may have a routine annual boiler service scheduled, if you see any of the following signs, it is recommended that you get your boiler serviced as soon as possible:
- You are not sure the gas appliance is working properly.
- The appliance appears to be burning with a lazy yellow flame rather than a crisp blue one.
- You can see black marks/stains around the gas appliance.
- The pilot light keeps going out.
- You notice increased condensation in the room.
You should also get your boiler and other gas appliances inspected and serviced immediately if you notice any of the following signs that may indicate carbon monoxide poisoning:
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Nausea and vomiting
- Tiredness and confusion
- Stomach pain
- Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing

- Gas pressure check – this will ensure the boiler is operating at the correct gas pressure
- Flue check – to ensure that the flue is safely fitted and there are no obstructions in the flue or unsafe emissions from your boiler
- Inspect and test your boiler controls and safety devices to make sure they are operating correctly
- Flue gas analysis – to ensure the boiler is working safely and efficiently
- Leave you with a report containing all the information about the works carried out

Oil Boiler Service:
